How Eldrin handles privacy, reading data, and website usage information.
Introduction
Eldrin AI Tarot ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our services.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive the account details Google makes available for sign-in, such as your email address, name, and profile image. We also receive the information you submit to request a reading.
Usage Information
We use Google Analytics and a small set of first-party product events to understand website use and the reading journey. Our first-party events use an account ID when signed in or a hashed anonymous identifier; they record bounded page/context labels and timestamps, not the text of questions, generated readings, cards, email addresses, or payment claims.
Tarot Reading Data
We store the question context, cards, generated reading, and timestamps needed to generate and return a reading, save it to an account when applicable, and support a completed purchase. An AI model provider processes the submitted context to generate the reading. We do not use private questions or reading text in public promotion without separate permission.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate, save, deliver, and support readings you request
- Operate sign-in, account recovery, fraud prevention, and site security
- Measure bounded product steps such as a reading becoming ready or a checkout being created
- Process payments and subscription status through Creem
Accounts, Saved Readings, and Subscriptions
Google provides optional sign-in. If you save a reading, we store its question context, cards, text, and timestamps so you can return to it. Creem processes checkout and recurring billing; we store the checkout, payment, and subscription identifiers and status needed to fulfil purchases and resolve payment status. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
Saved reading data is used to provide your account history and purchased access. We do not sell your reading history or publish private questions or readings as marketing material without separate permission.
Information Sharing
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service: Google for optional sign-in and site analytics, an AI model provider to generate a requested reading, and Creem to process checkout and billing. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information or private reading history.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Your Choices
You can ask questions about your account, saved readings, or privacy choices by contacting us below. We will review requests under applicable law; this page does not promise a self-service deletion feature that the product does not currently provide.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated effective date.
